The scene at the 22 minute mark had me uncontrollably laughing

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

My main gripe with a lot of home invasion movies is that they end when the boring protagonist (bonus points if it's a white woman in her mid 20s with a sob story background) fights back against all odds, defeats the intruder, and survives until morning. It's to the point where I actually end up cheering for the intruder to win.

I was afraid this movie would end the same way when the main character was being held down on…

How about instead of crucifying innocent women we do it to American film directors that remake foreign films by dumbing them down and making them PG-13 for xenophobes who are too stupid to read subtitles.

    GCW Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 7

While this isn't the first "worked" MMA style wrestling event I've seen (that honor goes to WXW Ambition 11- if you have the WWE Network or Peacock watch it because it's fucking awesome!) but this is the first Bloodsport show I've seen and I loved it! It's really cool seeing wrestlers who normally don't have an MMA-esque moveset go out of their comfort zone and wrestle such a style that makes you appreciate how tough wrestlers can be.

    My two…

A lot of people throw around the term "speechless" a lot, but that is the most accurate word that can describe the way this movie made me feel.

    Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre

Normally I wouldn't give this film the time of day, but it caught my eye because the title is a pun on the name of my home state. Arkansas is one of the lesser known states in America, and I can't even think of five films that take place here off the top of my head, so I felt like it was my obligation to watch it.

The movie itself was better than I expected and I'd go as far…

    One Cut of the Dead

All the characters were so likable and you could tell the actors had fun playing them!!!
I can't say much else because it's best if you watch this not knowing anything about it. I did that and had a blast!

That being said, this marks the end of the 31st G1 Climax. It's been a long journey and now that it's over I can finally talk about the entire tournament, so if you're one of the few people who care to read my wrestling reviews be prepared for a wall of text. I might as well start with the final match of the tourney- Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada.

As much as I despised Ibushi's booking for…

-Taichi once again telling a great story

-Glad Goto and Yoshi got one last win to close out the tournament

-I was honestly shocked Okada made it to the finals instead of Jeff Cobb. I get that Okada is the "safer" option booking wise, but Cobb really should have won B Block. He would have been the first person to win a 10 man block undefeated, and I expected him to win the entire tourney so he'd wrestle Shingo again because of how popular their match at WK last year was.

This marks the end of both blocks, and now all that's left are the finals.

People have been saying that Squid Game ripped this off. I fail to see in any way that this is a ripoff. It shares similar tropes, but by that logic Goodfellas is a ripoff of The Godfather. I think the only people who accuse Squid Game of being a ripoff haven't actually watched it, and are only saying that because they're one of those people who just blindly hate it for the sake of being contrarian.

    The silver lining of…

    NJPW G1 Climax 31: Day 17

After how disastrous his world title run was at the beginning of this year, I can't understand why anyone would want Ibushi to make it to the finals for the fourth year in a row.

This doesn't hold a candle to the manga. The ending also feels a bit rushed, the main reason being that the manga wasn't even finished when this was released. But it's a decent movie if you watch it as it's own thing and don't try and associate it with the manga.
