It’s been a minute since I’ve watched this masterpiece and I forgot how quickly those 110 minutes fly by. Every scene is so iconic and has multiple quotable lines and by the time we get to Stu’s house for the party I can’t believe it’s already happening. And then Billy and Stu reveal themselves and I’m squealing with joy bc I forgot how fucking good the end of this movie is GOD. 

It upsets me that this isn’t the first horror movie that jumps into people’s minds when they think of the classics. The 80s slashers are so over represented and we all know Psycho is great but Scream is just so shockingly good and every time I rewatch it I’m astounded at how much it holds up and is just such a genuinely good movie horror or not and Kevin Williamson is a genius and
