“Fear is a tool. When that light hits the sky, it’s not just a call. It’s a warning. For them.“

The Batman is a visually stunning cinematic experience. It’s riveting, it’s raw and it totally blew me away. I thought it was f*cking sensational. Whether or not this movie was what you expected, it’s definitely a fresh take on the superhero we’ve all come to love. Matt Reeves’ crime-thriller take on the movie was so unexpected. In a ‘crime-riddled’ Gotham City,…

“There are no two words in the English language more harmful than Good Job”

An epic, emotionally draining, dehumanising, depressing, musical masterpiece.

My favourite movie of all time. This movie has the best ending in cinematic history in my opinion. It shows the results of the constant testing of human limits. There’s so much raw talent packed into 107 minutes. It’s so consuming to see how the story plays out. It’s really a success story, but how we get there…

"You Break The Rules And Become A Hero. I Do It And Become The Enemy. That Doesn't Seem Fair"

You can really tell Sam Raimi sat in the Directors chair for this one. I underestimated this movie, the trailer was more than strangely off putting for me. As someone who doesn’t particularly care for Wanda’s character, it was refreshing to see a villain that felt more close to home than a purple alien. The cinematography and camera work was very…

    NO IT’S NOT.
    BILLIONS ARE DEAD.

This movie was so funny in the worst way.
Genuinely felt like the most rushed movie ever.

I saw an elderly dude legit sh*t his pants when Riddler killed the Mayor. I don’t know if they went to the wrong movie, but his wife was not happy at all.

Another couple showed up late during the movie and proceeded to sit down and take their shoes and socks off. I mean I know it’s Robert Pattinson but isn’t that a little TOO down bad?

The Killing of a Sacred Deer

WTF. I’ve never been so equally consumed and horrified. This made me feel something I can’t fathom. Completely unsettling throughout its whole runtime. The shot composure was awkward and the colour grading was what I like to call ‘in-your-face white’. The camera zooms reflect the unpacking of the story- obtuse and concerning. The soundtrack was unpleasantly atonal. You look for safety within the ‘normal’ family but learn that there is not a hint of normality whatsoever. This movie is so unexplainable…
