spooktober '22 film #19
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE. The cinematography and still shots, the score, the performances and cast, the plot, the aesthetic, EVERYTHING. Hereditary is such a heavy film, every scene weighs down on you and you feel everything the characters do. This movie always gives me a tight chest and anxiety but I LOVE that about it. It has every element of horror I like in one film, the psychological, the visuals, and a crazy ass plot. My eyes are always glued to the screen when this is on.
