Best money I’ve ever spent.
Over the past few days I watched Chloé Zhao’s first two films in order to help learn about her as a director and her storytelling. And my god, she is amazing. I don’t quite know if I can compare her to anyone else, but the influence from people such as Terrence Malick is clear. Her films are just so real and human, and this carries on with Nomadland too.
