A delightful subversion of the stereotypical “brand awareness type films”, it’s a satire and one that anyone of any age can enjoy, at the end me and my friend where wondering “what demographic/ target audience was this aimed at ?” [Cinephiles, that’s who].

The truth is I knew I was gong to enjoy this as soon as I heard of the concept and I’m glad I got to watch this and “Oppenheimer” while they where still in cinemas. Honestly this film did not disappoint, little slow in midpoint but…

    Top Gun: Maverick

Loved it! Felt like a big love letter to the original, I think I like it more than the original but only slightly. The original Top Gun was a really cheesy and quite a revolutionary action film, this film has the cheese but it’s tonally a lot more serious and the stakes where much bigger. Hearing the new rendition of the main theme + the use of the song “Danger Zone” by Kenny Logins, and watching the fighter jets on…
