Ryan Bingham’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hell yeah that was a great ending. God damn these films were done well. It is nice to see the characters continue to be developed. Sorry, history nerd here. Blacks would not have been treated that well in 1666, only nitpick really. I wish it was different and to be fair I understand this is fiction, I just couldn't help myself. There are great callbacks here, tying all the films together. I usually hate when films or series go back in time instead of chronological, but this is so well done. The ending of these films are great, well worth the time. I hope this trilogy gets at least some recognition at years end, unfortunately horror films rarely do. This reminded me that I need to watch The Witch again.
