Shares the same feeling of fear as being out of bed late at night as a kid and hearing something that doesn't sound right. Almost impossible to talk about just because of how wholly different it is from anything else ever made. If you're not fully immersed this doesn't work, but if you are it's maybe the scariest film ever, and I was immersed. Several moments where I caught myself unconsciously holding my breath because of anxiety. Without a doubt one of the best of the year, but not sure one that I'd be brave enough to watch again.
