My children have impeccable taste in film. It makes me so proud. 

They were glued to this more than any loud and flashy animation they’ve seen in recent memory. They were so emotionally invested in the relationship and very concerned for E.T. In the end.

This is also a perfect film with a pretty simple story. I can hear all the stupid notes that would be given if this script was turned in now... And all those notes would be horribly wrong.
