Horror Films only in the month of October.
(Exception cinema trips).
The slasher genre was considered dead after wave, after wave of slashers.
But 'Scream' came along and breathed new life into the genre.
I really appreciate and enjoyed how meta and how self aware it was which I never did back then, often citing well known horror titles within the film itself.
I haven't watched this in years and all i can say it still holds up to this day. It's a perfect balance between Comedy and Horror with an excellent cast and some genuine scares.
That concludes my 'Spooktober' for this year. I've had a blast watching and reviewing Horror films I haven't seen before.
Some will be on my list for years to come now. And here's to doing it all again next year. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE 🎃.
