That climax is a masterstroke. I mean it doesn't make the movie retrospectively better (as in not taking away its achievements till the climax), its rather me that's dumbfounded.

Wow. Please do watch everyone. Also one grouse for me with this genre is that filmmakers don't point out every little nuance that is a disservice to feminism in whatever they showcased as a world in the movie!

Kantara was a scream to behold.
Man vs Nature. Order vs Chaos.
Mythical legend, rustic portrayals, sweeping innocence and cunning CLASS and CASTE divisions transcended the cinematic experience and made it a golden celluloid. There's a rangasthalam moment and there was a kadaisi vivasayi moment. Delivering that third act with such impeccable craft pulled me into a trance thats due a second watch.
