    "forgetting is normal."

    gorgeous and magical, as you'd expect. does that very Miyazaki thing where it seems to be starting slowly and you get a little sleepy and suddenly there's a *ton* of shit happening, and you don't want to miss a frame. scarier than usual in some truly remarkable nightmare sequences. and to top it all off, Miyazaki adds another great Weird Little Guy to the Weird Little Guy canon. yet another triumph for one of the GOATs. three cheers for the Parakeet King.
