Heard good things about this one for years. I guess I had built up
some Ideas about what it would be like but I was wrong. It is a powerful, emotionally charged western wagon train drama that very much delivers. Really got me.
Watched via the new Warner Archive Blu-ray.

Still fantastic. In my top 25. The "I Melt With You" montage in the film is one of my favorites in all of cinema. Proposed to my wife(who is from the valley) on an original one-sheet poster for this movie. It is very special to both of us.
