Ruffa Ronan (Viola Davis stan)’s review published on Letterboxd:
Forget my first review of this y'all, it was for Goodfellas and I confused haha! Now, still, I don't think like this film. This wasn't entertaining, it didn't intrigue me, it was too slow and overlong at 3 hours. There are two surprising deaths. But the story's predictable, albeit decently written, mess. I got lost during the wedding sequence, which isn't a good sign when it's the opening of the film. I watched the sequel as well out of obligation and it is way better. The set designs are beautiful and Marlon Brando is maybe one of the greatest performance, but that's just really the only good things I can say. Way too overrated for me.
