Brutal, fierce, and masterful filmmaking. When watching this, I always forget it was released in the 90's. The costumes and sets are THAT good. Literally everything in this film works.

The acting is absolutely unprecedented. The chemistry between Liotta, De Niro, and Pesci is so unbelievably real, probably my favorite group of performances. They all hold their own so well. I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but I just get lost in what was created here. There’s such an undeniable sense of energy.

“Its real, honest, raw, and brutal.”
Give me a real, genuine reason why you enjoy this that ISN’T the first line i wrote. I’ll wait.
The most headache inducing, obnoxiously written, deplorable, sickening thing I’ve ever seen.
“That’s how life was like for kids like this.”
    Fuck you, Larry Clark.
