Not everything works in this short.
Ayode doesn’t fully fit into the world here.
It’s interesting, cause on paper you’d think he would.
But I find his tone to always have a sense of mocking to it.
It’s always one of I’m better than the material.
Hence his own work, mainly his books.
The stop motion does fully work here either.
What does work is the mime of things. And the use of lights at the end.
It’s a simple premise that could have used a bit more of horror vibe to it.
That being said it’s still worth the just over 15 min watch.
