WILDLY FUN! so many never before said sentences! i DETESTED many of these characters on a moral basis in a way that made me want to yell at my screen but also fascinated me in their accurate constructions of rich bitch behavior! gay benoit fr real and he’s my friend! especially though, i just really incredibly enjoyed janelle monáe as helen and andi… their relationship being the axis of this film even though andi is dead before it begins and we never see them interact is killer…. i adore the way these movies reframe past events in a new light! it is also very interesting how both these movies explore the nuances of how women of color are exploited, from the lowest to the highest income brackets… there’s a lot of clever social commentary in general! the rewatch is gonna HIT!
