the point of slasher films is to watch people die. therefore, a good slasher film would never do whats good in other films, making us care for characters. we have to want their stupid selves to die.
this film is so stylish. it doesnt have something that makes me love love it, like vampires or romance or the nineteenth century, but it is such a masterful film. and it's still a halloween film, and halloween is my favorite holiday
and now to the most masterful part of the movie, which is somehow the sidewalks. they brought to mind all my high school halloweens and were so good for creating a setting and i cant even remember all they did
