    All of Us Are Dead

an alright zombie-centered show and it was the thrill of it all that kept me going. but i just have to acknowledge cheongsan and namra, they were the heroes and theyre #my pookies.

    can sense there's a season 2.

finally in the loop. this got hits after hits i'm about to we don't talk about bruno no no no the entire week sorry.

  • Sunday Beauty Queen

    Sunday Beauty Queen

Our OFWs deserve so much respect and recognition. They truly are today's heroes. Sunday Beauty Queen absolutely broke me so many times. From Hazel watching her child's graduation ceremonies via video call to every single one of them sharing their own horrible experiences with past employers. It makes me furious that our government couldn't care less about how our domestic helpers in Hong Kong are struggling. At the same time, I was glad that some of them have found the…

  • Kim Ji-young, Born 1982

    Kim Ji-young, Born 1982

it's a very thought-provoking film with such strong performances. the way this story has been a hot topic of debate in south korea was what made me look into it more. it sucks that in this big year of 2021, women still face these struggles in their daily lives. there may be progress, but we still have a long way to go. and i will be with women in this fight.

i know i should've read the book first and as someone who kinda lost the interest in reading, this really made me interested to get back into it. i highly recommend this film.

  • Nevertheless,

i can't believe i actually managed to finish this kdrama despite nabi and jae-eon annoying me every episode. i guess it's because i was still invested on the stories of the other characters rather than the two leads. i also don't know how i felt about the ending, like the whole series just made me feel like i wanted to give them both a pep talk 😐

  • Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

    Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

writing this after the entire mess of kim seonho, i'm glad i got to finish watching this before the news came out. excluding seonho's controversy, the kdrama as a whole was really good. it's rare that i get to fully enjoy a kdrama from start to finish and hometown cha cha cha was one of them. it did not only focus on the romance between hyejin and dusik, but it also had interesting stories of love, family, and friendship from…

    More Than Family

not bad and enjoyed it as it wasn't entirely heavy and serious, just very heartwarming. krystal jung fits the role perfectly

  • Zola

maybe just me probably having my expectations really high but it was a decent film! and i had fun watching it too so that's enough. it was a WILD ride but i also loved the performances, they truly ate.

  • Sweet & Sour

    Sweet & Sour

okay ngl that twist got me real good but i'm sorry i was so annoyed almost the entire time like they were both just in the wrong. also felt bad for the girl at the drive thru that had to watch the argument unfold 😭

  • Battle Royale

    Battle Royale

idc this is the blueprint for the hunger games! this was incredible and something i would consider a creative storyline given that it released in 2000. this was recommended by my sister saying she saw this film in a facebook post. i am very familiar of the battle royale game but i was never aware of how it was actually based on this film (i'm sorry) and we loved it, it also had some distinct characters and the girls did…

  • Ramen Shop

    Ramen Shop

what a lovely and sweet little film. i have been watching a few films which feature food and found it so mesmerizing to watch. found this film sitting on my watchlist and i'm glad i chose this. it's genuinely so therapeutic to watch all the cooking scenes, and as a big fan of japanese cuisine, i got sooo hungry looking at those bowls of ramen. food aside, the story was so heartwarming. although masato's mom was no longer with him,…
