A hypnotizing descent into the depths of the human mind.

Floored by this movie and how quickly it absorbs your attention into it’s liminal spaces and mystery worth driving you mad. It is also perhaps the best example of how terrifying psychological horror actually is. Abstract images being formed into reality and crippling our mind through fear of the unknown is chilling. Shots linger in a trance that becomes so engaging through it’s deliberate exclamations of sound and hushed dialogue. It’s difficult to shake the sound of dripping water or shaking metal being the auditory signals of death taking shape in a literal sense. It’s terrifyingly fun to watch, and an instant recommend.

I can see myself returning to this frequently. Especially if I get my hands on a physical copy one day.
