rodrigo’s review published on Letterboxd:
a provocative title couldn't fail to transmit what we call a full package, this work is definitely one of the strongest in a chaotic chapter in US history. judas and the black messiah has to be appreciated, from his clever scripting and cinematographic techniques to the oscar-worthy performances by the entire cast but mainly by daniel kaluuya who brings a force along with himself as lakeith stanfield with his versatile and reverent performance, without doubts both deserve recognition from the academy. i can't help saying how touching dominique fishback's act is portraying the desolation of a black women in a grueling atmosphere.
touching, raw, historical and a must see.
