Rodrigo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Bullet Train is another cool action flick from "one of the guys who shot John Wick's dog" that often times commits too much to its comedy, which may or may not affect your overall enjoyment. The action is great, as is the cinematography and the prodcution design, but the editing is a little clunky and it kind of hurt the flow of some of the sequences. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Tyree Henry are, in fact, the standouts from the cast, and I will always have a place in my heart for anything Pitt does, but it's impossible not to question the absence of oriental actors in standout roles (Andrew Koji and Hiroyuki Sanada's characters were heavily sidelined until the last act and I can't say I did care for any of them by the end).
The greatest mistake this movie does, for me, was not having a scene featuring both Atlanta stars - i won't spoil who's the other one, but just know that they don't have any interactions.
