Rockjunky’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wow, this is now my lowest rated movie on here, and the only one I haven’t liked since I’ve gotten this app. And that really says something cause I like most movies I watch and I’m a fairly positive and forgiving person when it comes to movies. But this just wasn’t good. This was very boring already, but then you add the fact that I just watched the original yesterday, and well yeah. This really sucked, it had none of the charm the original had, I didn’t really care about the characters at all, and the story went in a totally different direction that made no sense at all. The only good thing from this was really the score (John Carpenter still with the awesome music), everything else was either bland or just straight up bad. Still wanna read the book though.
