The Godfather

The Godfather ★★★★½

"Don Corleone..."

If there is a film that will be called the objectively best film of all time, I would absolutely be content with Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather being that candidate. It's THE perfect film; it practically doesn't even feel like a film, more like an experience. It's got everything anyone could ever want in a movie: drama, suspense, justice, Sicilian culture, you name it. The performances are all phenomenal, the cinematography is impeccable, the script, as well as the improvised moments, are just, woooooow... Honestly, I need to write a full essay on this masterpiece soon enough. Although I won't be the first to do that. But yeah, this is, in the most simple words, a movie's movie.
