Rob Andrews’s review published on Letterboxd:
“What's your favorite scary movie?”
I’ve always really loved Scream. I remember studying it at uni and watching it a few times with my housemates.
Anyway, the reason I really like Scream because Wes Craven was clearly having so much fun with it. All the dialogue about the movie influences is a blast. While it’s clearly heavily influenced by all the horror films before it, including Craven’s own, it does a remarkable job of standing on its own as well.
