Robert Shupe’s review published on Letterboxd:
I kept expecting Remy from the Ratatouille movie to pop up in the middle of the knives sculpture.
Move over Sherlock, Poirot, and Columbo, there is a new tricky dick in town named Benoit Blanc and he is ready to take you down one piano note at a time.
This film was sheer fun and entertainment. The entire cast made this movie worth the watch and it looked like they were having a blast. It was nice to see Don Johnson, Christopher Plummer, Daniel Craig, Chris Evan's, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis and so many others giving Lights out performances. This would also make a great play with some editing.
It is funny and is a nifty little murder mystery. The editing in the interrogation scenes was spot on. The crowd I was with certainly enjoyed it and is a film where you can relax and not takes things too seriously.
Peace and make to never get a knife in the back or anywhere else for that matter.
