Steve Hunt’s review published on Letterboxd:
Damn, Bullitt is one super-solid procedural. The fact that it takes place over the course of a weekend does wonders for its pacing, as you really feel the pressure being put on Frank to figure out what the hell went wrong. Also notable is how well it maintains its realism, as all the procedures are done in a matter of fact way that makes no mistake of the participants being professionals, blasting through those scenes with the expected level of expertise that you should hope to see. Fantastic editing and the iconic Steve McQueen performance solidify the film's status, even beyond the legendary and still captivating car chase and the crackerjack airport finale that Michael Mann probably should have owed some royalties to at some point.
