An Alan Smithee Film: Burn, Hollywood, Burn

so inept it's almost mystifying, so juiceless it should be studied - clearly wants to be a christopher guest-style industry satire mockumentary but is so narratively incompetent it consists almost entirely of medium-to-close-up shots of characters recounting events, rather than just.. depicting the events. everything is rendered completely incomprehensible (and weirdly claustrophobic) by atrocious editing - baffling creative decisions one after another after another. devoid of comedy and i mean there is nothing that elicits so much as a mildly amused exhale. a fucking trainwreck and i do not say that lightly.
