It was sometime back in middle school when I started getting into movies. They fascinated me and I wanted to watch all movies that were considered the best. I watched classic after classic and watching all of those big movies (The Godfather, Vertigo, Citizen Kane, ect.) for the first time as a way younger kid barely getting into film, I was left with a feeling of happiness and wonder of how movies like that could exist, and enjoyment that I…

So before, I go deeper into this, I just want to get a few things out of the way

The cinematography is great and some shots in particular are unforgettable, especially because of how emotional scenes in this movie can be

The great camera work combined with great set designs (half of the movie takes place in one room and how the room is set up is perfect) makes for a visually appealing watch

The whole cast is in their…

Now this is what I'm talking about

Saw the first one, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, yesterday to find flaws that brought it pretty down for me. The Wrath of Khan succeeded on fixing all of them

The pace is way more better going for less of a slow space look and more for an adventurous tone, which is what Star Trek needs. Movie's set designs and visual effects we're also pretty top notch to fit the new tone

    The…

    It's fine

The visuals effects and set designs, despite feeling dated a few times, were amazing. The 44 million dollar budget can be seen on screen. That one scene where Spock was going through V'ger's records has to be one of, if not the best scene in the movie

The film's biggest problem was the slow pace. I don't mind slow paced movies. It's just that I feel like the story in this movie was appropriate for a more faster…

    The Rocky Horror Picture Show

    ★★★★

It's pretty fun, but does get tiring around the middle, and by the end, I'm left exhausted

Still enjoyed it though. Was campy and cheesy but self-aware about it. Crazy with it's plot that doesn't leave any boring moments

Soundtrack's lit and the musical numbers, even though some are more tamer, are a blast

Tim Curry's performance is what steals the show most of the time. He gets really into his role, and it makes for an unforgettable character

Wish it would've had a better structured plot, but I still liked it for how unique and entertaining it was

Was due for a rewatch so yeah. Loved it this time as much if not more than the last time I watched it

John Carpenter's style fits perfectly in this movie. He masterfully brings a dark and chilling atmosphere and tone to the film the whole time

Plot is engaging from start to finish. Script is always on point. Cast is great and there isn't a dull performance on here

The practical effects in this movie are amazing. Better than…
