I don’t know
They really fooled me with this one man god damn.
For pretty much the entire film I was like, allright we got a Brokeback Mountain and Call Me By Your Name mashup. However the ending changed everything for me and I totally was not expecting it. Looking back I realise there were many clue's leading up to it, but I was just so tuned into this Call Me By Your Name type scenario I wasn't picking up on the clues.
I feel like this playfulness from the director/writer paired with the obviously beautiful landscape and cinematography makes for a very wonderful and entertaining film.
Im sure most Bond and especially Daniel Craig fans will enjoy this quite a lot. But to me someone who rarely watches action flicks and has very little investment in this franchise it just felt slightly too boring and forgettable.
The start of the film actually got me really excited and for a good 30 minutes I was totally emerged into this world. However as the story progresses I feel like it keep falling flat and I kept losing interest.…
Jesus fucking Christ..
This film is total madness, extremely beautiful and absolutely gut-wrenching too watch.
I cannot begin to comprehend what it took to make this film, truly film making at its finest.
this film is such an incredible achievement and I hate myself for putting this film on hold for so long.
Very happy I finally watched this but I will be seeing many of these scenes in my nightmares for the next few weeks.
This film really took me by surprise!
While watching the first act I felt super detached from the story and our main character but the film does a great job by resolving the story while simultaneously building it up. In my opinion this makes for a very organic understanding of the emotions and actions of the characters. Even though it’s not a true tear jerker i did feel very connected to the characters by the end of the film.
