The Social Network ★★★★★

''Yeah, so, clearly this sequence encompasses what the whole film is about. How the Winklevoss twins try their utmost best to come out on top, but eventually lose to Zuckerberg (as represented by the other boat). The frustration on the third guy's face at the end is also very important; it represents how useless he was in this whole process. He had little to do with the idea and execution of Facebook and it was all on the Winklevoss', who fucked it up.'' - Random YouTube dude.

Facebook has become a way of life. At the very least, everyone knows about it. I thought this film did a fantastic job in telling the story of how it came about -- in fact, I'd call it one of the best movies ever made so far on a 21st Century social phenomenon. It fires on all cylinders - acting, writing, directing, editing, lighting, music, etc... Absolutely a masterpiece. Probably one of my 10 favourite pictures ever, even.
