    This is not the worst big, dumb popcorn blockbuster I have seen, but in a way I am annoyed that the central reason I watched this movie is buried. It’s supposed to be about the fear and terror of untrained, everyday humans being propelled forward in time to fight a lost war against bloodthirsty aliens in a post-apocalyptic, hellish landscape.
