Daniel Sacks’s review published on Letterboxd:
Big, pretty, psycho-delic (he’s functionally a serial killer, yeah? Sure he has a “purpose” but this is no different than, uh, Viking-Zodiac(?)). The special effects and their implementation was great. Still don’t know a thing about Vikings or why they do what they do. Power hungry land barons? I enjoyed the soundtrack quite a bit. I liked something else a lot but I can’t remember because nothing here makes a terribly huge impression. Maybe I’ll enjoy it more as a “known entity” on a rewatch.
