This is different from many YA book to movie adaptations of the late 2010’s because this doesn’t drag. It felt very fast paced compared to movies such as Every Day and If I Stay. I expected it to be slow paced like the novel but it went through everything pretty quickly; though it also skipped over much detail lessening the impact of certain scenes.
