    Gay people should get sappy movies that are silly and full of tropes too. Some day we will perfect it. 

    Unfortunately, straight people patronizingly clapping and screaming and fetishizing gay men in media has not gone away, if my theater experience was any proof. I’m exhausted.     Listen. Male camaraderie is something I have craved from a very young age and because I was born a girl I never received it the way I wanted. Jackass let’s me live vicariously in a youth I never got to have. It is a profound experience. And it is so weird to feel those profound feelings when a man is getting fish eaten out of his ass by a giant bird.
