The best thing about Venom is the odd couple relationship between Eddy (played by by a bi-polar Tom Hardy going full manic) and his symbiote Venom. The rest of the film is a half-assed Spider Man wannabe movie with a lame-ass Mary Jane-like romantic sub-plot.

They picked a great voice actor for the deep throaty voice of Venom -- Tom Hardy! Basically we've got Eddy and Venom playing themselves which makes total symbiotic sense.
