A great love letter to the NBA. Loved the large number of cameos in this—they got current stars, fan favorites, old legends, international players, coaches, and even some street ball players all on this project it put a smile on my face seeing guys like Anthony Edwards on screen. Being a fan of the NBA my whole life this was perfectly catered towards me. Also no better actor to lead this movie than Adam Sandler.

The movie is very unrealistic and generic at points to the point it takes me out the movie but I like how it works all-in-all.

Was really looking forward to this.

I love the aesthetic—plain walls and furniture wrapped in white cloth, green poker tables and subtle neon lights, grey suits and black sunglasses. The Abu Ghraib scenes have some incredible camerawork, and poker as a topic is so intriguing to me.

Unfortunately, the film is so low energy I also wouldn’t have minded watching something else.

    - If his name wasn’t listed as Pedro Pascal, everyone would be shitting on him.

    - Kristen Wiig saw that she missed out on the masterpiece Cats (2019) and happily decided to play Cheetah.

    - Either only cartoonish or bland writing, acting, directing, costume design, and visuals.

    - Someone kidnapped Hans Zimmer, because he was nowhere to be found.
