Reese Bolt’s review published on Letterboxd:
Makes sense to me why this is a fan favorite. It feels like the little rascals take on a nefarious jester. The film is unfortunately more light-hearted and comical compared to the original, but director Chuck Russell and screenwriters Wes Craven and Frank Darabont finally ratchet up the thrills toward the end; birthing a demented mythology for Kreuger and finally dispatching the series heroine.
