The best film of Daniel Craig’s bonds, but his second best if we’re taking the series into account. His best Bond movie in that regard is Casino Royale.
Skyfall stands on its own, though, with an excellent performance by Bardem (as usual) and Craig showing more vulnerability than usual. This one feels more nuanced than the others.
Deakins also knocked it out of the park as expected.

This is a compelling unraveling of a fascinating man. This said, I'm conflicted about the use of AI deepfake technology to recreate Bourdain's voice. The doc medium already walks a fine ethical line by presenting "truth" through the lens of either intentional or unintentional bias, and to add another layer of uncertainty as to what's real feels reckless and a line I'm not sure we want to cross.
