    You Were Never Really Here

Not feeling it all that much, it just feels so unfinished... and I'm kinda disappointed because Lynne Ramsay was one of the directors I was hoping to get into more on the assumption that I'd enjoy her work, so I was really anticipating to watch this. Maybe better luck with her other movies, I'm sure she's made better than this.

  • The Seventh Seal

    The Seventh Seal

What a perfect way to begin 2022 with watching The Seventh Seal for the first time, I think it'll be one of my favored films of all time. Loved every minute of this extraordinary piece of cinema. Now I am even more thrilled I chose to own The Seventh Seal as my first Criterion Collection... best Christmas gift yet!

  • Sorry to Bother You

    Sorry to Bother You

fun and entertaining watch especially on 6hr car ride to a wedding in missouri

  • The Lighthouse

    The Lighthouse

There’s so many differing ways to interpret the Lighthouse, it’s so frustrating because I don’t even know where to begin or even describe what I saw.
I’ll come back to this when I have an explanation for this film, or maybe I won’t… because not everything needs to be dissected and analyzed. Maybe that’s what this film just is; something to simply be observed. The experience from viewing this is one to preserve to yourself. Although, it may seem like…

  • Hellraiser

2nd horror movie i’ve ever seen and… no… just no
    slightly frightening just a bit

sorry but horror movies aren’t real movies

  • Suspiria

Watched my first horror film and what better it be Suspiria since cinephiles go absolutely insane over this film… problem is i had way too high expectations before watching so i robbed myself from truly enjoying the experience of Suspiria.
I truly don’t understand the hype, or maybe horror is already not my thing? I don’t know just very underwhelming especially towards the end.

Though, the colors incorporated played an exceptional attribute to the cinematography along with the remarkable choice of characters seems as the only factors that saved this film from a poorly executed plot.

  • The Graduate

    The Graduate

can a film be anymore perfect than The Graduate

  • In a Lonely Place

    In a Lonely Place

“i lived a few weeks while you loved me”

what a frustrating ending to a slow start of a movie

  • Zodiac

    first fincher film lesssgoooo
i’m literally so proud of myself for finishing this long ass movie even tho it took me 2 days and i can barely remember anything that even happened
honestly this just isn’t my type of film genre, though i will say it was entertaining nonetheless some parts i’d be so invested and other times i’d be like okay whatever
i’m pretty sure there’s other fincher films that’d i enjoy way more than this, but this was…
