If you are ever recommended this movie, you need to be given a warning. This movie progresses slowly as a psychological thriller. And that ride is unsettling and as a viewer, I thought it could go a couple of ways. But it didn’t go any of the ways I imagined could happen the third act turns into the kind of horror you definitely warn about before telling someone to watch it. This movie is harrowing and upsetting and gut wrenching. I am still thinking about it and it’s been a day. I thought it was great. The use of foreshadow is so perfectly subtle - plus no amount of foreshadow could really prepare anyone. So watch at your own risk. It is October so nows the time.
