  I’m rewatching this whole series - not a surprise. This one is a lot darker than I remembered. I really love how it’s set up but I hated the way it’s filmed at times. Fortunately, I haven’t seen it done like that again - catching fire is probably superior to this but both are really good

  M. Butterfly 1993

  This presents itself surprisingly realistic and as a very deep and dysfunctional film until the last 20 mins or so - that’s when you really have to suspend disbelief.  But all in all, it’s definitely strange but in a good way. The message is clear.

  This is a cool movie. It was probably really cool in its time. I watched it again to refresh myself. I do think you have to like the Beatles songs to enjoy it to the fullest. Or you have to at least not hate them. But it’s cool. Better than The Who but not as good as the wall

  I rewatched this for the film club movie of the week. 
  I think this film is best as a comedy for sure. But it hits a lot of elements in a well paced and timely manner so that it still carries a lot of weight in its message. The acting was great. I enjoyed these idiots and I definitely had to watch with subtitles to pick up on all the subtle humor. It drags for a bit of time and…
