This is more often than not my pick for greatest movie of all time. Too much to talk about but maybe I'll get into it one day. This is the kind of movie that made me realise things about myself I didn't even know I could realise.

The way we see the gritty, disgusting underbelly of 70's New York from the singular perspective of Travis Bickle combined with the score creates a tone and atmosphere of pain, impending doom and…

Finally got to see in a theater. I gave it the benefit of the doubt after my first home viewing. But after my second watch I enjoyed it even less.

Scale and spectacle isn't enough to make up for such a bland story and non-memorable characters. It almost felt like Villeneuve was purposely holding back as much as he could for the future Dune movies. It made this feel too long and short at the same time. Instead of being…

The definition of a rewatchable film. Repeat viewings offer you the chance to spot all of the hidden details that foreshadow the climactic ending. This movie takes Chekov's gun to a new level because there isn't a single wasted second in the over two hours of runtime. Containing elements of a classic and modern mystery movie, the outstanding screenplay and performances make this a film I will return to many times in the future
