Waited a really long time to get around to this one having had it on my watchlist for like four years and it didn’t disappoint. Somehow Scorsese as Van Gogh was better than I could’ve imagined and all of it was stunning.
Space epics, especially the subgenre of space epics about dads in space, are quite often films that I absolutely adore. This is among the very best of them and among the very best of all films.
