    I like Michael Sheen, time travel movies, movies set on trains and Christmas. 

    Despite that - this was rotten. 

    Props to the director for a a good stab at recreating the time periods from a filmmaking point of view. Sheen is always good. But this is like some weird Black Mirror reject. 

    Also the SKY EPG says this is 90 minutes long. Reader it is not. It’s 2 hours and feels 3. I paused it at one point to check how long was left and unleashed a blood curdling howl of pain.

    It gives me no pleasure to brand this a disappointment. It doesn’t work as a psycho-sexual thriller on account of it being entirely sexless. But it’s too well made to trash?!  Is there a more virginal film that dallies with sex?! The Voyeurs on Prime has more of a sense of sexuality. It doesn’t work as a horror at all. The gialllo-esque sequences are so non-scary it feels like Doctor Who horror at best and that’s the kindest thing you…
