“Yea well you’re dead.”
“Ah, but that is no match for wishful thinking.”
At the time this was made it felt like instead of making a kids movie that has something for adults, Pixar made an animated film for adults that kids will also love. For the most part, when people hear ‘adult animation’ it’s always gotta be raunchy and dirty to classify. But, there’s plenty of animated ‘kids’ movies that I think have more for adults than kids, and this is one of them.
This movie not only has the best backdrop of any Pixar movie, but it also has some of the best characters, writing, and music. I absolutely love the vibes this movie gives off.
It also always makes me hungry, but it’s impossible for food to taste as good as it looks in Pixar or Ghibli movies.
