A lot of misconception about Spencer is that it's accurate storytelling of events. It's not. It's about how Diana felt during these events, we're looking at things through Diana's view not how they truly are. Spencer is not a biopic it's a story. A story of Diana's mental turmoil throughout her royal life pushed and condensed into three days. The movie is made of mostly symbolism and delusions of Diana; the soup scene, Anne Boleyn, even the church scene where we see her distraught and uncomfortable, but on TV, she's all smiling.
Spencer was beautiful. The cinematography, the set design, and the dialogue all made me love this movie even more.
