Letterboxd — Your life in film

this is one of those films that I feel you appreciate more upon each rewatch. I could see myself giving this 5 stars in a year or so.

the entire fight sequence at the osaka continental is one of the greatest moments in action film history

Immaculate set design, so ahead of its time.

starting this year off with a banger. 

hot take: the two towers is better than the fellowship

better than the first but i’m not sure how I feel about this turning into a whole series of films.

another steven spielberg masterpiece.

nicolas cage is a good actor

the framing of this film is so harrowing and haunting.    I have a lot to think about and digest.
this will only get better as time goes on. 
I already feel like rewatching this…

btw: I do partially understand the comparisons to taxi driver, but from a lot of aspects I don’t think they're similar at all.

it should be required to watch this film every thanksgiving.
