A refreshing blockbuster with smarts, humanity, and great visceral action. The corny moments are done with such fantastic energy that it takes you in. The love the characters show for each other when usually in male-dominated pictures like this it can become so cold and sterile is also a joy. It hits many familiar beats but the action, characterizations, and plot are so crowd-pleasing that it doesn't take anything away.
