"America's on fire right now and until the fire is extinguished don't nothin' else mean a goddamn thing."
Involves two actors at the top of their game just when you think they can't get any better then the next movie comes out. This works because of Kaluuya's portrayal of Hampton not just as a one-dimensional martyr or Wikipedia entry but as a living breathing person. Who in the United States of America was never going to be allowed to live and the manipulation of justice is more than heartbreaking it's infuriating. This is not just a betrayal of Hampton but goes beyond that and into the culture, it shows.
